Stage 6 - Thursday 23rd July –Ulvik -  44km and 1,200 climbing

800m climbing over 7km. Leah and I both do not like hill climbs like this, and we suffered, or maybe it was the good food and glass of wine last night. Either way, a short and honestly pretty brutal day. At least we were back in time to put our feet up and watch the Tour.

Tomorrow is the final stage, and Leah is 4 mins off the overall women's podium. I am going to climb with her then see if we can make up the 4 minutes on the 50km into Geilo and the final up hill. It should be a good day, as forecast for more rain and cold. We WILL be prepared this time.
